AN ILLUMINATED IJAZET CALLIGRAHPERS CERTFICIATE SIGNED BY ABDUL RAHIM AL-NAFIZ, Saleh Al-Sabri, Muhammad Al-Rashdi and Hassan Al-Helmi, dated 1258AH-1842AD Folio 27.5 x 21cm Arabic manuscript on paper laid down on card, text written in one line of thuluth script in black ink within a cartouche on a light green ground, followed by two lines of naskh script on the same green grounding gold cloud bands, last four lines with calligrapher’s details, all surrounded by a rectangular panel decorated with intertwining floral motifs and stylised serrated leaves in colours and gold on a light brown ground.
